Theme Update
I updated my theme again. I really liked the other and will probaby keep playing with it but the main reason I changed was I updated my photo gallery.
You’re probably wondering why I went through all that trouble to update to Gallery 2 when I pretty much stopped using it in favor of Flickr! Well I wanted to integrate the gallery into my blog to make everything look uniform.
I look forward to more posts on more random topics that warrent writing about.
Dale and Thomas Popcorn
A while back, I discovered the best chocolate popcorn from Dale and Thomas Popcorn when I was in New York City. I love popcorn as it is but this stuff is the best ever! All flavors we tried were great but chocolate was my favorite.
Guess what I did today???
I wore 2 different shoes to work today!!!!
I am not kidding, I really did.
I had a few minutes this morning and couldn’t decide on what shoes to wear so I wanted to ask my neighbor friend and carpool rider, Becca. She didn’t come out of her house as quick as I thought she would so I got in my car and drove across the street to get her. She came out and got in the car and we just drove off to work.
We had to stop at Panera Bread and get food for her group. (Still didn’t think anything about the shoes). We just kept chit-chatting like usual until I got about half way between our homes and work. Then it clicked! Oh My Gosh! I am wearing two different shoes!!
We laughed and laughed. Becca suggested I go back home and change but I was to far to turn around. The shoes are both black, casual maryjanes so they are not too different but I feel so strange wearing two different shoes to work.
Ok. Gotta work…
Money Savvy Generation
I found this cute piggy bank in a magazine and it really caught my attention. I have always tried to teach Danielle good money habits and will continue to do so and introduce Mason to managing money as well. Dave Ramsey’s Reality Check
Matt and I have started Dave Ramsey’s plan to get rid of debt. We save a lot for retirement but have some debt we need to clean up, then we can start saving for college and pay off the house early. Since starting in January, we have already paid off 1 account and closed it and will be paying off another this Friday. It feels good to pay off stuff. We are sacrificing some (eating out less) and sticking to a budget and it feels great to already see progress after only 1 month.
