KC and Imelda at Gulfstream
My family and I stayed at Gulfstream Condominiums on N. Padre Island, in Corpus Christi, Texas. We met KC and her family out there. Mason got an ear ache and Danielle also felt sick but we still had 5 fun days.

my new macbook
i finally got my new macbook! just in time before I left on vacation.
The new Apple Store, Memorial City Mall, Houston, Texas
Yes I’m a geek. My family went to the new apple store about 50 miles away from our home with the rain and detours. Looks like other apple stores but everyone was so nice. I think I want to work at the new store in Sugarland when it opens in Sept.
My new macbook was supposed to arrive today, but because of the heavy heavy rains in Houston, its been delayed.
Colorware at it again..

Have you seen the new colored Apple Macbooks from Colorware? Pretty cool but also pretty expensive. You can choose from 23 different colors. They also offer other ‘colored’ products like iPods and Dell laptops. If you want to be different, take a look. Wait time is also 2 to 3 weeks.
I am glad I am not getting one, I wouldn’t know what color to get, I like so many.
Matt and Imelda
Me and my dear husband Matt.. 5 years after we got married at Angela and Graham’s wedding in Houston, Texas.
You’re following the FIFA World Cup right?
I’m rooting for Italia to win the FIFA World Cup, but think it will be Brasil winning it all. At work we have a whole list of people’s gueses. This is pretty fun to keep up with. I am even teaching Mason to cheer with two hands in the air!
How about you?
Cookingbynumbers..

Now I found a site for me, cookingbynumbers.com. I am not really into cooking but do like to try on occasion. I found a site where you just check off items you might have in your fridge or pantry and it gives you back choices of stuff you can make. Try it out and tell me what you think?
My first recipe it suggested for me was Pasta with cheese sauce– sounds good to me!

Dinner time with Mason..
Mason has been eating good on and off for a while now. We are told he eats 2 servings of lunch and that we shouldn’t worry if he doesn’t eat much for dinner.
He used to eat whole wheat crackers, yogurt, corn, any fruit, black beans and rice well. Now he is getting picky. We have recently tried eggs but only ate a bit, waffles, veggie chicken nuggets, tater tots and and grilled cheese with only a bit of success.
I found this blog entry from parent hacks about what to feed a self-eater. Many people posted some great items to try.
More with the experimenting Mason!
Anyone have any suggestions for feeding our 12 month old?
