50 good things about being debt-free
I just found this article on bankrate.com titled, 50 good things about being debt-free.
Here are a few of my favorites we can all learn from:
- No ghosts of Christmas debts past haunting you during holiday shopping season.
- Setting a good example for your kids.
- Knowing the difference between wants and needs.
I need to blog..
Hi All
Doing well but just keeping busy. I am sure you all are just as busy but sometimes I feel like the busiest person alive since I work full time, am married, and have 2 kids. I don’t even cook and yet I am busy. I guess if I spent some extra time on the weekend to plan meals during the week, dinner wouldn’t be such a scramble.
What have I been up to? Well Danielle turned 14 this past Saturday. Yikes! As she is now getting older and I am thinking of college expenses, I am leaning to not paying for college now. I found this article that talks about this very subject. We’ll see.
I look Monday off work and took the kids to school. I then ran errands like the bank, Target, Home Depot, dry cleaners and then had lunch at my new favorite pizza place, Centercourt Pizza & Brew in Pearland, Texas. I took a nap that day too.
Work has been good this week.
I realized I am a hoarder of paper, music, dvds, links and probably other stuff. Strange since I hate clutter.
I finally caught up on the last 3 months of Coverville podcasts! Great stuff Brian!
I have also been playing with a bit of audio editing with audacity. Doesn’t work on my Intel Mac but does work on my PPC iBook.
Debt is going away! I think our new target date to call Dave Ramsey and scream we are debt free is March 2006 and not Jan 2007.
Bed Time!
