Its been a while..

since I wrote anything. I was busy this past week helping with a multi-family yard sale Saturday. It was more work than it was worth but I had fun spending time with neighbors. The day started out really cool–we even had hot chocolate–but warmed up by noon.

I went to a YoungLife fundraiser banquet last night to support the North Brazoria area. If you are not familiar with YL, its an organization for young people to help them find a relationship with God. It was a nice presenation and its a good program for kids these days. Danielle has been going since my neighbor Becca and her husband are volunteers. Ryan Long also performed about 4 songs and spoke. He is a musician who has been playing at YL Camps for about 10 years. Funny and inspirational lyrics. The banquet was catered by Outback Steakhouse! Boy were the mashed potatoes yummy. Matt got 2 steaks so his tummy was nice and full!.
