Apple Store – Galleria, Houston, Texas
Its a bit after 1 PM and I just arrived at the Apple Store to meet my friend Libby who is in line. She got here at about 9 AM and is #26 in line. The line doesn’t seem too long but then again, I don’t see where it ends.
People have been allowed to sit, unlike other reports at other stores. Apple also passed out water, juice and Starbucks coffee earlier. Maybe they will pass out Chick-fal-a for lunch!
No swimming for Mason
Mason chose not to go to swimming lessons yesterday. Yes he is 2 and shouldn’t be allowed o make a lot of decision but he felt very strongly about this one.
He started to cry and fuss when I pulled into the parking lot. He screamed No, Daddy, Home, Back over and over. I figured I had to at least go into the facility to let them know he wouldn’t be in class today. He just screamed in the lobby. Poor kid. When we left he stopped crying.
I was going to take him out of class completely. We have 4 more lessons. I decided to just miss this one and take him to our neighborhood pool 4 days this week before next Tuesday and maybe that might help.
We took him yesterday and overall he did well in the water. We are going to go a few more times and hopefully we will have positive results which will translate to positive swimming lessons. I’ll keep you updated.
Number of the Day
I can’t get this tune out of my head. For days I have been hearing Count Von Count singing “Number of the Day” and I keep saying it too. Mason started counting from 1-10 last week and he also watches Sesame Street regularly so maybe that’s why.

Anyone need any invisible ink?
The Library Shop of the New York Library is now selling Invisble Ink. According to the site, “this amazing ink goes on to paper wonderfully clear and invisible: it turns blue when the paper is held over a light bulb or other gentle heat source, and then disappears again as the paper cools.”
This would have been great when I was in school and writing all kinds of notes in class!
