Kristen’s brush with the ACLU
Asked my cousin Kristen about her brush with the ACLU when trying to vote and here’s how it went down:
Kristen: ha. i didn’t see your reply to my ACLU thing till right now, going through my replies tab.
me: ah
ok
Kristen: yeah i went to go vote for the midterm elections and they wouldn’t let me
something about being registered in two counties
i was livid
LIVID
and they were acting really snooty with me
so i 411′ed the ACLU in austin
cried to them about not being allowed to vote
and then they were livid
i may have said something about being mexican
so yeah. they called the voter office in laredo.
five minutes later, ballot in hand.
that’s my aclu story.
me: that’s awesome
can I blog that?

Just saw Imaginary Heroes with Emile Hirsh and only because Emile Hirsh. Wasn’t bad. Check it out. Sigourney Weaver was in it. My dad wanted to rename me Sigourney after her for some reason.

Attention dog owners…
Attn dog owners: how do you keep your dog from shedding and sleeping on your bed and furniture? Really, I need advise.
My two Basset Hounds shed all over my house and its driving me nuts. I can’t keep it clean, even with a housekeeper.
They sleep on my leather couches and on my bed and I don’t like that either.
They have torn up my backyard and we never go back there, its so crappy.
I just don’t like living like this and really don’t like the control the dogs have.
What should I do?

I was reading Jenny the Bloggess’s post about Technorati and her possibly fake Dolce & Gabana bag when I decided to folllow the Technorati link. Turns out it was reactions to her blog. I decided to try my own blog to see if anyone else was talking about me.. and sure enough a few people have, but not many. Take a look.
