This playlist archive project tracks the legacy of MTV’s 120 Minutes over the years, from the first episodes in 1986 to the very last episode on May 4, 2003.

The goal here is to create a retrospective of alternative music like nothing ever seen before. With the help of our contributors, we have 360 playlists right now, going back to 1986. The archive was last updated on 2/18/2008.
