I completed my Project 365!
Many of you know I really like photography. I decided to create a Project 365, where I take a photo a day for all of 2007, but my camera broke on Feb. 21, 2007.
I started for the 2nd time on my 33rd Birthday. I should have started out with a birthday cake or something but I didn’t get one.
I got the idea from an October 2006 post at Photojojo. The article suggests getting support from friends and family because there will be days when I may not want to take a photograph. Ain’t that the truth.
There are MANY others out there also taking part in a Project 365.
You can see my first Project 365 set These included photos from my trip to Mexico, Honduras and Belize!
Today would have been the last day of the project but Leap Year 2008 threw me off and I finished yesterday.
Overall I am not that happy with the resulting shots, but am happy I completed it. There are some shots I am very pleased with, while others I feel were just forced. There are photos included I would never have posted but did to keep up with the project.
I am also glad I did this as it is a record of my last year visually. Some days I wrote a lot to go with a photo while other days, I only numbered the photo. I think I am going to enjoy not being forced to photograph something every day or not having to post. I’ll go back to being a bit more selective and I’m really looking forward to it.
I hoped I would have created a piece of art for every day of last year, but at least a got a few photos I’m proud of for one reason or another, like these 20.
I encourage you to try a Project 365 yourself.

I’m enjoying doing one of these, but yeah, it is hard some days. Especially when I was sick this past weekend. It’s a good challenge though. Congrats on finishing and Happy Birthday!!!

So great!! what dedication :) Your shots are always such great story-tellers and never look like you ‘HAD’ to shoot them every single day :)
