Happy Birthday! Gosh, I can’t believe you’re 16. Make sure to pester your mom about getting a license at least once a day, otherwise they’ll revoke the past year and you’ll have to do 15 all over again. Many happy returns!

Any advice for a young woman of 16?….
1. Don’t let anyone pressure you into something you don’t feel right about. Your mom will NEVER get mad at you or be dissapointed in you if you need to call her in the middle of the night for ANY reason. ANY reason. Just call her.
2. Don’t forget your parents have been through just about EVERYTHING you have or will go through, just in a different hazy shade of 80’s garb. (Really, they may just undersatnd.)
3. The choices you make now make for an easier OR harder later.

Happy Belated Birthday Danielle! As you embark on 16 please question everything that comes before you because those that question gain insight and are prepared to handle any obstacle that comes before them.
