We must be willing to get rid of the life we’ve planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.
I always thought that if you prepare and plan really well, things will work out for you in the end. One of my favorite quotes for soo long has been “Prepare, and be amazed.” Now I’m not so sure. What do you think?

Some things are unexpected and cannot be planned, but sometimes they are the best things in life. I love to make plans (contrary to what my sub-head on my blog might say…), but they don’t always work out. Instead, you get something different but that something different may be even better than you think.
I don’t think these two quotes in your post have a lot to do with each other since planning and preparing are two different things. You can like both, I think. :)
