Review of 2008 Goals

Before I can write my 2009 Goals, I want to review my 2008 Goals.
Financial
- Save $30K – Didn’t do
- Pay $30K extra to mortgage – Didn’t meet
- Travel a bit more, even if its just to other cities in my state – I went to CA, Boston, NH and made a few trips to Austin
- Blog a bit more regularly – DID this!
Photography
- Complete Project 365! Started on my 33rd Birthday (April 3rd) – DONE!! :)
- Print more of my favorite photos to display and share – DONE
- Mirror Project – 1 photo a week of me in a reflection - Didn’t do this so much but did a bit
- More Black and White photos -Didn’t do this so much but did a bit
Things I did do in 2008 in no particular:
- Made some awesome friends and found many old friends!!
- Had a nervous breakdown and realized how much I need consistent medication
- Learned that money isn’t everything
- My niece Hannah was born
- I finally got a Macro Lens for my 30D
- Read a lot more and learned more about spirituality
- Celebrated Matt and my 7th Anniversary with crab at Truluck’s! I had been wanting to go to Truluck’s for more than 10 years.
- My babies turned 16 and 3!! Boy does time fly!
- Survived Hurricane Ike!
- Didn’t make a big change I thought I would but there is still 2009
- Got a new piercing and tattoo both in Dec. in Austin
- I had foot surgery on both feet in November! No more bunions but still have some pain
- Caroline Collective, the worlds largest coworking space opened and I’m soo glad to be a part of it
- Started working for big oil
- It snowed in Houston!
- Listened to some fabulous music!
- I cry almost daily
- Finally went to my first Houston Dr. Sketchy and SOO glad I went! It was like therapy!
- My 2008 in photos
- I got an iPhone in April! I’m on my 4th as of yesterday.. o_0
- I learned to LOVE MYSELF! – That’s probably the biggest one of all! Now just to feel comfortable with that
Overall, 2008 was a tough year and I really am glad its over [wish I had a glass of wine right about now], only to be able to look back on. I am soo looking forward to 2009! I’m sure there is more stuff I did in 2008 but on to 2009…

I think 2008 was a tough year for everybody. I have to believe with everyone wishing so fervently that 2009 be better, it just has to be. Good luck in the new year.
