New is old is the same is different in 2012
Hello all! Welcome to 2012. Reflection time.. You know me, always changing.. Well my feelings about the Internet keep changing. I wanted to delete my web site, but haven’t. I loved Instagram for all of 2011 but feel different about it now. I used to love Flickr but the community isn’t like it used to be. I’m getting very tired of Twitter as new followers or comments are almost always from people I don’t know from Indonesia. Facebook is blah.
All these are different tools to help us communicate with the ones we want to communicate with. I think I have lost the attention of the people I pay attention to. I’ve lost that sense of community. I’ve made a ton of great friends from the online community and we communicate more offline but I miss them online too.
I’m in limbo… Again.. Not sure where I’m going with this.. all I know is I still love taking photos and maybe that’s just may way of communicating right now.
