Me and my 3 kids on Mother's Day! So thankful for them! #fb

It’s very rare that I get a photo with all my kids. It’s very rare that I get even a photo with one of my kids, because I’m usually the one taking the photos in the family.

I LOVE this PHOTO! I LOVE my KIDS!

Jack is new to the bunch and we all just adore him. He’s a very easy baby. He’s ‘over coked’ so that may have something to do with it. He’s 7 months now and already has 7 teeth and knows how to use them ;)

Mason is preparing for Kindergarten and turning 5 later this month. He is learning soo much at school including writing, math and some reading. He is becoming so helpful around the house, offering to help with dishes and laundry. He LOVES dinosaurs right now and always ask to be read his dinosaur books. He also watches the Science Channel a lot and says “Dinosuars are his kind of science”. Smart kid! Maybe he’ll be a scientist like his uncle or grandfather.

Danielle is strong willed, smart, beautiful and I am so proud of her. She completed High School early and will celebrate commencements at Reliant Stadium in early June. She has been doing a lot of babysitting and also is a nanny for a particular family. She loves being around kids and hopes to become a teacher. Of course the teen years can be rocky, but Danielle is growing past that and I love watching her grow and progress.

Matt is taking the photo so he’s not in it. Matt is Matt. He’s great as long as he has his boys!

Henry talked for almost 3 hours without a sip of water. Henry Rollins has a lot to say.

At 49, He has aged nicely. A silver fox as Hala calls him!

I offered him "Free Food". He said thank you but that he was headed to Dallas.

I also intent to exercise daily using my Wii Fit Plus. I really do like it, just need to make the time for it. I started with the Wii Fit last year when I was invited to a Wii Fit Party at Jenny the Bloggess’s house. TOO much fun, even with a broken foot. I had bunion surgery.

I heard a lady at Mom 2.0 Summit say she lost 16 lbs already since the beginning of the year using Wii Fit Plus. I wish I knew who so I could talk to her more..

I Love Houston &<br /> The Mom 2.0 Summit

I spent the last 2 days hanging out, listening, learning and totally being inspired by some amazing women at the 2010 Mom 2.0 Summit!

I am reviewing panel notes, contact cards, photos, blog posts and twitter streams of new connections and will share more very soon. Until then, take a look at some photos from the conference.

It’s a time of reflection.. this being the last post of the decade and all..

I’m not a writer, but I give it a try, sometimes

I’m spending the last few hours of 2009 with Mason and Danielle, just hanging out. Oh and of course listening to Blanca cry from the fireworks. Matt and Jack are sleeping.

I thought I’d take note of what I’ve learned so far about me:

  • I’m not a dog person
  • I love watching Matt with the boys. You just see *love* spewing from him when he is with them. I couldn’t have asked for a better father for them
  • I complicate my life and need to remember to keep things simple and clutter free
  • I tried a few things I didn’t complete but finished the most important things
  • I love playing LEGOs with Mason
  • I LOVE my family and am very grateful for them, even though some days I don’t show it
  • I’ve made so many contacts over the last few years, but still only have a few people in my life I call friends. I wished that more contacts became friends, but just thankful for the ones I have.
  • I LOVE George Clooney’s voice
  • I lost my Grandma Anita in 2009 but what she taught me, will always be with me
  • Never thought I’d work for big oil

A few goals for 2010:

  • Not complicate my life, but take on what I can handle
  • The standard stuff like eat healthy and exercise more
  • Don’t get overwhelmed by media like blogs, blog writing, podcasts, tv
  • Spend more time on photography since it truly is one of my favorite hobbies
  • Find more freelance work, but if not, no big deal
  • Work to figure out my dream in life and my purpose
  • Continue to find balance between me time, family time, work time, spiritual time..
  • Travel more or just move to Colorado

That’s it for now.. Goodbye 2009… Bring on 2010!

I remember when my dad convinced me to by some green Rocket Dog shoes at Dillard’s. They were a loafter style but with a huge sole and they looked like green green grass. I think I only wore them once. But they were like $9.99!

A few quick thoughts..

  • I now have HD TV service and a number free movie channels so I’m watching TOO much tv.
  • I’ve recently completed 3 website within about a month and start another tomorrow morning
  • 17 weeks and 2 days pregnant as of now. Find out if we have a sally or a billy on May 15th!
  • Mason’s turning 4 this month.. boy does time fly!
  • Still sick daily and hope this phase ends soon.
  • I bought a Lensbaby 2.0 for my camera! Check out the photo below!

I went to see Morrissey in concert with @groovehouse & @darkhairedgirl on Saturday, April 11, 2009. Wasn’t sure about seeing him at Jones Hall, since all I had seen there was a Cinderella musical years ago. This is the only shot I got with my iPhone, but had my flip for video.

Since Danielle and Mason are such amazing children, and parenting is SOO easy, Matt and I are just that crazy to do this one more time!

We are expecting a new addition to the family at the end of Sept!
