Hard Awakening: Alarm Clock iPhone App
Matt was looking for his “Clock” app to set his alarm clock on his iPhone last night, or well this morning at 1:30am or so.
He couldn’t find it and thought Mason might have deleted it so went to find another Alarm Clock app.
Well he had to find the most annoying one, Hard Awakening: Alarm Clock (iTunes link)!

This app has 70 different sounds, all of which I think he went through at the highest volume ever!
There is even a warning: CAUTION: some of the built-in rings could drive you crazy so use them with caution! We are not responsible if you go wild about your iPhone smashing it into pieces! Not for the faint hearted!
He ended up choosing one of the Reveille tunes and I was promptly woken up at 6:30am!

Sure this app works, but boy is it annoying! You have been warned.

Matt got an iPhone…
and the world just might come to an end. Just kidding, a little bit..
We recently switched Matt to AT&T so we could have a family plan again. He got a Motorola Tundra phone but had trouble with dropped calls and just overall using the phone. I suggested an iPhone because I love mine so much and its so much easier to use. The contacts is much easier to update/maintain, the texting is much easier than T9, he could surf the web, and get his email. He really wasn’t interested until I told him the iPhone was $100 less than the Tundra and that he could get an SSH client on it to access his other UNIX/Linux computers. He decided to give it a try!
We went to the AT&T store and he was out of there 20 minutes later with a new phone! He got home and setup his wireless, email and added a few contacts. By the end of the night we had synced contacts, music and apps from my computer to his phone and he was ready to go! I was soo glad to find out I didn’t have to re-buy all the apps I have on my phone that he may have wanted on his phone too. He downloaded an SSH client and was able to get to his other computers and tested out IRC before 11pm!
All and all, I think he’s a successful convert!
Mason was thrilled to wake up this morning to find “their phone” had all his games installed for him! “Their phone!” I love it!
I completely forgot..
That I have a blog! Sorry about that!
