How cute are we?
While in Corpus Christi this past weekend, we got to visit with my friend Al. He took our picture from his backyard that overlooks Corpus Christi Bay. I think we’re soo cute!

Finally got photos up from Easter. Mason asked for an Easter party complete with egg hunt, bunny cake and family. He received.

I wanted to write something cute and clever, but just haven’t thought of anything yet.
A few updates: I changed jobs after almost 10 years at AIM/INVESCO/AMVESCAP (so many name changes). It was just time for me to move on. I am now working for big oil, Chevron in downtown Houston. The first time I walked into the old Enron building, I got a bit freaked out.
I have really got more into digital photography and got my first DSLR Camera in May, in time for Mason’s 2nd birthday.
Mason and Danielle are both doing great! Mason is talking soo much, making very long descriptive sentences and using his hands to communicate. Its too cute. He is a typical 2 year old boy who loves cars, trucks, balls, Diego, and animals. He doesn’t care for Elmo anymore so that is kind of a relief.
Danielle is in the 10th grade at the new Dawson High School. She is taking a photography class now and I think has really improved these last few months. She still is entertaining the idea of a career in fashion and is doing research into colleges now. Danielle has been doing a lot of babysitting and is great with kids. She has also begun bugging us about drivers ed and that really scares Matt and I!
Matt’s back is finally back to normal! After many years of on and off pain, mostly on, he had back surgery in early October. Pictures you ask, of course!

A Day at Surfside Beach
Mason wanted to go to the beach, so we went to Surfside Beach, south of Houston, Texas down SH 288 and over the intercoastal waterway. We weren’t out there that long but we had fun. It wasn’t too hot and the water was just right. While we walked on the jetty, we even saw someone catch a stingray.

Family update
My Uncle Hector died this morning. Today is also my sister’s birthday. What a hard day to celebrate.
